If your still running a tag tune

From what I under stood TAG tunes were safe. I got about the equivalent of the stage one (2.79 60# and tune Group buy).

SO I thought I was running super rich. I got my wideband on and I was in the 13's and 14's WOT sometimes. We check the VE table On HP tuners and fuel completely dropped off after 5000 RPMS.

I am really surprised my motor didn't blow up after 10000 miles of abuse with it. The only thing I can think of is because I got no knock at all. Not once ever at any RPM and load.

I think Its because timing @ high RPM @ WOT was only like 16 degrees, and I run 93.

Fred from a sponsor SMG auto sports clean up the tune a lot. Way more power and I run much smoother.

If you have a tag tune. All I can say Is get a wideband on it and try to have someone scan it w/ HP tuners (its free to scan) before It's too late. I think I caught mine in the nick of time.

NGHK I was dying for the day you would reply to one of my threads. To bad its not super smart like normal. Oh well still a win. Check out my tuning thread see if you have any idea please.

Anyway My car felt fine but when I checked the VE tables they were all out of wack. I would seriously suggest in getting a wideband before its too late.

Fred From SMG motorsports and I are working out mine. I'm sure you can someone around there to help you out.

Got any pics of the install? If it's not too much trouble?

I had the same tune but im running a 2.7 on it. The car had no more power and it bogged out after 5500 rpm. Got a new tune and the thing runs like hell now. And btw TAG still owes me the core charge for my pcm.... Bottom line dont waste time or money on TAGs parts or tunes..

Nice install. Here's an idea. Get a sheet of plastic or even better....CARBON FIBER...and make a cover shaped like a lid for glove box...and cut a circular hole to fit the wideband. That way it looks cleaner and hides the wires.
