I found a local guy here who happens to be selling some 99% tread, almost brand new, khumo ecstas 225/40/18

which is the tire i was probably going to end up buying anyway.

kick is....hes willin to sell for $350 CA for the whole set....but i dont really need them for at least 6 months, probably more.


Am i crazy to turn down such a good deal even though i dont need them?
keep in mind you cant compare tirerack to this....
in canada, the BEST price possible on these...is around $190 a tire.

anyone have these tires?

Buy em! throw em in storage til you need em. or turn around, mark them up, and sell them.

 

If you havn't allready bought these I would vote to buy them. Tires don't go bad after 6 months or even a year, so storing them isn't a problem. Spend the money now, you'll thank yourself later .

 

Yeah if you can afford to get them now, i would get them, esp if that's what you want anyways!

 

Only problem I see, and might not matter to you, is those are H speed rated. Might take a hit on handling, and wouldn't do any high speed runs on them. Just FYI.
