20,000 service check

Ok, so my next oil change falls just passed 20,000 miles. I know I need to rotate the tires, but what else should I get done at this point. I was thinking having a general diagnostic check of everything and tune-up

Anything else you guys think I should get done?

Shouldn't need new plugs and a fuel filter on an unmodified 2.2.

To the original poster - *do* inspect your air filter, and change that if needed. Very little actual maintenance should be needed, but always check / fill your fluids. i.e. break, coolant, wiper, etc. Aside from that, check the back of your owner's manual - it has a maintenance schedule there.

Ok, so I am going in next week this is what I am thinking:

Fix Sunroof switch (****** fell out and then guy moved the switch last time it was in instead of fixing it)
Fix window creaking noise from the last time they worked on it.
Oil Change
Tune-up (plugs, diagnostic, check fluids, change fuel filter)
Cabin Air filter

Anybody think if anything else? I was gonna get tires rotated while it was in, but I am getting my rims in the mail tomorrow and wheels put on this week.

the fuel filter on the 2.2's are non serviceable and they are located inside of the fuel tank. Putting new plugs in would be a waste of money. Save your self some money, and inspect the air-filter your self, left side of the engine, 4 philips head screws.

Just get and oil change and tire rotation.

I think the air filter is held in place using two latches or so, no screws. Get it done. Easier than my drunk girlfriend

Crap, my car is at Chevy now and I hope they don't rotate the tires like they did last time...my tires were rotated not even two months ago. Now I gotta re-rotate them myself. arghhh

Well, I put in a new airfilter, made a huge difference in performance and mileage even though my ecomony says 32.7mpg, the gas gauge doesnt lie, its better... As for the plugs, i pulled one out at 29K, and yea they were out of spec about 5 thousandths, so a re-gap would get it back in specs, but new ones are on the way, wont hurt. This whole 100K tune-up statement etc is all BS, combustion and fuel elements etc will erode the plugs and age them no matter what car etc. its a myth.
