grab a pair of pliars or a vice grip and that should do the trick. somehow when i went looking for them i couldnt find them n when i went back to twist it off it just magically came off.

if you look at this pic, look at what the silver piece is sitting on ... that whole piece comes up when i twist the antenna ... it seems like the antenna is stuck on my car or something ?

ok, i finally got it ... i had to remove the whole antenna from the car, and take off the rubber from it, and use goose neck pliars to hold onto the bottom portion of it, and then use a wrench to unscrew the antenna from it ... god, they put these things on so tight !!

thanks everyone for your help ! it looks good now with the shorty antenna
