My cobalt is waiting and a sunroof frame GM p/n 15220461 which is on national backorder and the eta right now on it arriving is 10/15/05, but my car has already been at the dealer since 9-27-05. So thats about 3 weeks without my car since the sunroof wont close.

I know this isnt what you meant but thats the only part my car is waiting on.

most with coupes are probably waiting on the passenger door panel, all coupes have the fabric coming out from under the lip of the handle. It is a defect on gm, they did not make the lip large enough to hold the fabric. If you look at the drivers side it has a thicker lip to hold the fabric in place.

Is that a warranty repair? My leather is coming out there too but I wasn't sure if it was warranty or not, if it is I'll tell them I want it fixed but I want to keep driving the car while I wait for the part to come in.

Your dam right its warranty. ANY thing that goes wrong should be taken in and fixed under warranty.

I have been told that GM recognizes the passenger door panel issue regarding the separation of the leather from the window up/down control panel, and that they have issued a bulletin to dealers not to order additional ones until they rectify the problem. I've already had one replaced, and it has exactly the same problem. I would hope GM rectifies the matter very soon. Also, I have the window up/down panel on order for the same door since the silver paint on the plastic is flaking off abundantly with even minor rubbing.
