civic si or mazdaspeed3?
Well im at a dealership with my friend(ScytheSnake) and we go shopping and for the mazdaspeed3
...we get to the dealership and the guy jus does not kno anything about the car...i mean this guy was so terrible and the service was just utterly terrible..DOES MAZDA WANNA SELL THEIR ******* CARS I MEAN DAMN!!!....so the guy is jus talking all this bs about how all the ms3 gts jus have to come with the navigation system and then later on he tells us that mysteriously there are some in milwaukee that are lower in price...need i remind u people that this car is going for a pretty penny of 26000 so i wasnt in the mood to hear this ****...so finally the guy shows his ass long enuff and i get pissed and leave bcause the guy was jus in the state of mind to jus be a dick head and strike no type of deals for me......Soooooooooo now im pissed bcause ive basicallly been told bs for far too long...I start walking toward the honda dealership jus to see what they have on the lot basically looking for the 2 door coupe model si...the owner decides to have 3 civic si's but theyre all in 4 doors so i ask him if he had any 2 doors and he says WELL I JUS SOLD ONE TODAY!...so i leave bcause he obviously never had any 2 doors to begin with...then i go 2 another dealership for Honda and once again(i swear it must be national dick head day for dealers because thats all they are)YEA WE HAD ABOUT 5 OF THOSE TODAY SOLD LIKE HOTCAKES...
r u fing kidding me so now im even more pissed...the guy then tries to tell us that the cobalt ss/sc is an inferior car compared to the civic si(rice)and then SCYTHESNAKE jus flips out
so funny...so basically now i think im gonna try again another day and hope for the best
The only question now is which car i should pursue because now other options in different locations have opened up...so basically should i keep pursuing the ms3 or should i jus go with the si and jus call it a day?...please give good feedback on why u chose ur answer would be greatly appreciated

Mazdaspeed 3
Anywho, yes I flipped out on that Honda salesman, tyring to tell me teh civic is a superior car than the ss/sc and that the civic si is FASTER!!! BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anywho, man,w e'll keep looking for that MS3 man. it was your first love, and we just have to look a bit harder is all. Don't settle for something you don't want (civic si), and the MS3 looks better than the si, and is faster, and more room!
Go with a mazdaspeed 3.
I think it was pretty easy to understand wasnt it?
theres very very few people that actually end up boosting their car.
but ALOT who say they are "gonna"
at least buying the MS3, hes got that under his belt already, and the potential to mod is alot easier and alot cheaper.

I would say go with the MS3, i think its like the VW GTI, and nice car, i checked some of them out at my semi-local Mazda dealer, and they were very nice cars. Also, if you get a Civic, we'll call ya a Ricer.
Sorry, but I'm telling you to ditch buying either of those cars.
Before I purchased my SC a couple of weeks ago, I went to a Mazda dealer to look at an Ms3 Sport they said they had. First off, when I got there - no Ms3 Sport. It was "on the way" I was told.
So I drove the one GT they had, but I wasn't interested in paying 26k just for a lousy Ms3.
The car's not worth it.
Additionally ...
Overall, it was a Lose/Lose situation.
But my experience at the Chevy dealer was fantastic:
In the end, I saved over $4,000 from what the Mazda dealer was willing to give me.
Bbbye Mazda ... Hellllloooo Chevy!

Additionally ...
- there were no rebates on the Ms3
- they were ripping me off for 2k on my trade while not budging on the sticker of the Ms3
Overall, it was a Lose/Lose situation.
But my experience at the Chevy dealer was fantastic:
- I grabbed $2,500 in rebates
- in 5 min. they gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade

I like mazda's and I think they're great cars but the ms3 is mad ugly but it is fast...lol. On the other hand the Si looks good but its mad slow. If its just the 2 of those you're looking at go with the ms3. To me civics are like the cavalier was, old and stale. Good luck on the search!!

FYI
Point #1 - The MS3 is pushing 260+hp, and 290+torque, stock. Much more than an SS/SC or Si.
Point #2 - They base MSRP at $22000 or so, anyone trying to sell for over $26000 is smoking something, unless its coming with Navigation system, etc.
Point #3 - Civic Si in no way compares to an MS3 or an SS/SC, they're what now, Gen10? And still can't get it right? They've had more recalls in their '07 model year than the SS/SC has had in its lifetime.
Just my .02. Enjoy whatever you get, and buy it for yourself, not cause some people on a webforum told you one was better than the other. Later

But that has nothing to do with the car, its just the dealers are dumb as hell.
ms3 ... since it's the lesser of 2 evils.. at least it's got a nicer interior ad F/i from stock... one of my friends has one and it looks like a accord with a rally type body kit... when i told him that he got all depressed haha ... si's look alright but it's still a civic... and yes we will all call you a ricer if you get one
. if the civic had torque or could be a ss/na like a ss/sc could I would say get that since it's cheaper. but as far as performance goes the Ms3 can be easily upgraded to something really good
edit : what 3 ricers said to get a Si !!!!
they should be banned!!!!!

I have driven both... a 2007 Si (very nice build quality and interior.... just SLOOOW)
The MS3 was very quick, very responsive, and 4 doors (good for insurance), but it's just ugly but growing on me! I would have to pick the MS3 over the Honda though!
