winter steel wheel for the cobalt SS 2.0

I'm trying to replace my 18'' P-Zero for the winter with 16'' steel wheels

Anyone can point me to a manufacturer's name and/or part number for a 16'' steel wheel that will fit my 2006 Cobalt SS they are hard to find in Canada

Thanks

Tell me the bolt pattern and I can tell you if one is widely available (probably so).

Good luck with your search, most places are sold out of them now, but keep looking I'm sure someone has the right wheels.

5X110.... I can't say I've ever heard of that bolt pattern before.. GM and their speshul enginurring. Its retarded!

At least the LS and LT models get a bolt pattern common to every import in exsistance. =p

Steel wheel that fit on the SS/SC

Finally went this morning to try 2 sets of the 16'' wheels listed for the Cobalt SS here is the result

Palmer 99-128 at 59.99 DO NOT FIT

MACPECK X41658 GOOD FIT BUT THIGHT...stock calipers are very close...but since I only got 5000 km on it there shouldn't be any problem when I replace the front pads.

so I went with these rims at $82 and with the Dunlop M3.

Hope this can help someone...

You want a tight fit! As long as they don't rub against the calipers, you want them tight.
The Palmers are 5 X 114.3, and our bolt pattern is 5 X 110. The Macpecks are X 110. And watch out, just because a set of rims 'don't fit' doesn't mean they won't put them on your car!!! It's happend Also, don't bother going to GM, they make a no-name rim but haven't made any for the SS/SC.

Hope this helps too!

Put your car in as a Saab 9-3 2 door coupe(same lug pattern)

and pick out some 16" wheels and tires(215 60R16) somewhere around that

your welcome

ps: do a little searching i found wheels at $75 each and winter tires at $62 each
...thats pretty cheap
