question about the wing on a ne 07

Hello new member here! Hi!~

I just bought a sliver ss/sc wow.. what a ride, like a cork out of champane bottle.

Anyway my wing is the big version and i notice that some cars have a smaller version.
whats the deal? did chevy put different wings on sc's?

I also wonder how much it helps the torque steer, seems like the other one i drove had a smaller verson and the one i got did'nt seem to go so sideways, might just be me.
new to the car and this is the 1st front wheel car Ive had with a little power.

just thinking how to keep it planted and going straight. lol.
Love the car the price is half of what I what it would cost me to build a smog free gas eater that could do 14's in the 1/4. dam near as fast as a 350 z check out these time slips at the fudd site

yes chevy put the smaller wings on some of the 07s plus you can order it that way, but the wing doesnt do a thing for torque steer, i dont think there is a production car out there where the wing really does anything.

hehe and even thats mostly show really but you know what i mean hell our cars go faster with the small wing over the large one anyway, the big one drags too much.

Well since I am a old lady I was thinking of deleting the wing so kids dont see its an ss so quickly,
but if they hear it it too late.
on the way home from the dealership some guy in a last gen camero wanted to race , then a guy in and old jetta. the guy in the jetta i blew off a few blocks and rolled my eyes at him when he caught me turning.

the cost of the big wing is more than the cost of the little one.
12499795 $260.00 $0.00 $195.00
12499801 $540.00 $0.00 $405.00 you know they say bigger is better ?
pluse it might help the weight distrubution a tiny bit.
anybody in ca go to the track?

wtf you talking about the big wing is what makes up for drive train loss... it's a little known secret that the ss/scs aren't under rated just the big wing adds 25-30 WHP DUUUUUUUHHHHH and they're not enough drag for it to matter either way ... trust me ... it's not like the car is perfectly aerodynamic, hell the air going under the car probably causes more drag against the components than the wing

lol thats funny man. but seriously when they list the top speed they will list it as (drag limited) and they are talking about the wing, i had a friend try to get up to top speed with both the large and small wing and he got about 5 miles an hour faster with the small wing.
