Gnarly scratch I need to fix, help please

I was drunk at a party and my buddy drove me home. I didn't know at the time but he scraped my bumper up against a ******* wooden pole. Luckily there are no dents.

Anyways I grabbed some Turtlewax Rubbing Compound and some Scratch-X from autozone for the lighter scratches. It looks like on one spot it took paint completely off. I'll probably have to order some touch up paint.

Any suggestions on fixing this?

is that clear through the paint? if so, nothing but paint will fix it.

That last pic is all the way through the paint, but the rest is just surface scratches.

My buddy is paying for all of the supplies to fix this, I'll be ordering the GM matched paint soon.

First, I'd hit it with some Stoner's Tarminator. That should loosen up all that crap that's stuck to the paint.

Once the majority of the crap is off the paint, then you can clay bar it. That should leave you with a blank canvas of paint to determine the damage. If there are any deep scratches, like down to the primer, I'd fill them in with touch up, wait for it to cure, then wet sand them down flat with a 2000 grit sandpaper, then go over the spot with a DA or Rotary Polisher and a good cutting compound, followed by a polishing compound.

That should take care of it, but it really depends on the severity of the damage.

I haven't gotten around to fixing this yet...

So, just a question for people who work in bodyshop or know.

How much would it cost to get that profesionally fixed/painted?

Probably 100$ ( I professionally detail cars) if those marks don't come off with a wash you can try taking some rubbing compound to it that should take care of it no doubt. If you want to fix that part that went all the way through the paint look at the following directions.... clean the scraped area with a alchohol, apply a good layer of paint, let it completely dry ( I would say a good 10+hours to be safe), with 2000grit sandpaper soak it in water for 30minutes and start sanding down the painted area until smooth, then with a buffer and rubbing compound take out those sanding marks, apply some clear ( 2coats) and repeat the sanding/buffing then apply some sealant/glaze to that fresh paint
