Got my Stage 2 kit installed a couple weeks ago, just noticed last night (clicked the rev limiter off) that it is still @ 6500rpm. Thanks to some great threads/posts on this site I was able to find a lot good info and links. This one for example.

Enough to determine my reflash was not done correctly. With printouts in hand I went by the dealership this morning. Explaining the issue to the service writer was fun, he asked where i got all this information from, a hint of irritation in his voice. I just told him the intarweb. Anyway to make a long story shorter the dealership lost the authorization code that was included with the S2 kit. The service mgr told me there is only one guy in all of the universe who can help my dealership unfook themselves by getting a new code or authorizing a new one. And wouldn't you know it, the guy is on vacation until July 9th and that I was SOL until then. How's that for great service? They're going to give me free tank of gas for my inconvenience. Ass nuggets. I will be driving the car with a light touch until it is reflashed.
