Sweet. But did you really think that Tahoe(?) really stood a chance? Or did it have some unnamed mods?

 

Just what I got lined up against; luck of the draw. The first race the staging lanes director (?) lined me up against a WS6, one of his buddies said before the run "don't let that Neon beat you." He ran a low 13, I ran a 12.2

 

without the trademark spoiler and rims, i thought it was just a reg. neon. nice run tho! major props.

No gear grinding. That's a WOT shift w/ the engine hitting the MSD rev limiter. The MSD cuts the spark so the unburned air-fuel mixture goes off in the exhaust.

ah...the rev limiter is spark related and not fuel. That explains the questions I had when I watched you run a couple weeks ago. Awesome times.........congrats!!
