I have a 2.2 LT on Pro-Kit + sway bars.
I want to change to the Sportline springs but still keep my 2.2 stock shocks.
Basically, I want to know if anyone have the Sportline on regular 2.2 shocks and most important, for how long.
I wanna see what's the longest period someone has this setup.
Thanks guys!

Yeah, I'm looking into keeping my stock shocks with the sportlines too. I would like to see how long people have had them, and how long they will last.

I am looking more for Sportlines on 2.2 stock shocks....
Pro-Kit won't hurt the shocks but sportline...

Well i know there are a lot of people running the sportlines on stock shocks its not going to break the shocks right away it will just make the wear faster than they would with stock springs. If your really worried about the shocks i think Koni has full replacement rear shocks for sale for around $200 a set which isn't that bad that are designed for lowered vehicles. They also have struts available for the front but they are not full replacements

I put a set of Pros on my 2.2 with only 10,000KM. Shocks were blown by 25,000KM.
If you do a lower, at least install a set of FE5 Struts, might as well since you have the strut off in your hand when you do the springs.
Also to tack onto the last post, I just put a set of Koni Sports into a Fire-chicken... Amazing feel, and they are adjustable.

You don't have 2.2 shocks, right?
Hackabuse
how do you drive? How's yyour roads?
It's impressive how long you're going.
Whish I could see some pics of a coupe 2.2 on sportlines (without the SS bumpers and side skirts)

My roads are decent.
I don't always pedal to the floor, but I usually won't purposely avoid potholes, and I take corners faster than normal.
So I really beat on the suspension

Cool. I guess I'll go ahead and get the sportlines. But I will go ahead and get the struts and shocks shortly after, but I wont put them on right away, just to see how long the stock parts will last.
