Finally got the dual pass installed (option B)

Well i finally got the 2nd coolant bottle hooked up and got the car running today. I didnt put the .040 orifice in. The 1/4 hose barely fit over the nipple on the coolant bottle i cant see it making that much of a difference, if it suppose to be in there someone please let me know but i dont see it purpose. Also did anyone else notice that their supercharger gets extremely hot when they shut their car off. Like i know it gets hot because there is not coolant cooling the supercharger but i used to be able to put my hand on it for a few seconds before i would have to remove my hand, but now its extremely hot like i can even touch it at all. It is like 90-95* today and its extremely hot out, which could be the reason. My iat2s were like 120* going like 65MPH and would drop when i gave it some throttle but driving around town like going 35 my iat2s were like 145*. Is this normal or what, i just want to make sure it is working properly.

Sounds like you have some good temps for the ambient temperature.

I couldn't really pull apart what you were asking though, maybe some pics would help?

About the S/C... lol. If you ever see a terminator at the track, pull up next to him while his hood is up and crack an egg on his M112 heaton, and i bet you'll have scrambled eggs in 20 seconds

After a drive i could pop my hood and roast marshmellows on my S/C.

Temp is 75 outside here and cruising around at 30-40 IAT2's were at 113*.

I was driving around without the 1/4" hose on for a few days and I noticed a couple of drips. I put the hose and the .040 back on. Shouldn't really make a difference unless the coolant starts sloshing around.

That coolant has no affect on the blower. Just the air after the blower. Coolant doesn't run through the M62, lol.

Very nice, Steigmeier port&polish (stage 4) is worth ~60 horse and about ~20 ft. lbs of torque, and keeps the Heaton running A LOT cooler, and allows the eaton to be spun upwards of 22,000 RPM I believe (?). The stock unit loses efficiency past 18,500 RPMs, then the heat created by the blower cancels efficiency and you start losing horse.

I'd love to grab a steigmeier port, then I could safely jump from 13lbs of boost to 17

That'd be sexy.

What RPM are you guys able to push the M62 to efficiently? I thought you guys were running 10psi stock ?

Just wondering, I'll be picking up a daily driver next year, and I believe a boosted balt would be up my alley if my cobra is where I want it... I definitely don't want an SRT-4...

My buddy has a stock 04? SRT-4 that he let me drive around all day one day. I hated it. The torque steer was seriously ridiculous. Through first and second the torque steer would almost throw you in the other lane/off the road if you didn't grab the wheel and compensate. Was crazy.

It did feel pretty quick, until he told me it runs almost 15psi STOCK. my jaw dropped. I was like uhhh then where do you have room to grow? Heh.

Yah same here, bob told me it was $395, im thinking about getting it when i get enough money. I dont know what the efficiency level is but its 12.5lbs stock, i think its around 18K with a 2.8" pulley at 7K rpms, im obviously overboosting, im pushing around 20lbs. STock the car didnt torque steer bad but after the mods i put on you have to have a firm grip on the wheel in first and second or you'll be in the other lane.
