Ingalls Tourque Damper!

Can anyone help. I saw a post by one of the supporting vendors here, for free shipping. I'm looking for an ITD, I'd rather by from someone who supports this forum. Maybe I'm nuts, but I swear I saw it. Anyone know????

Here is a direct link:

http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...idproduct=4933

We offer a complete set of 3 mounts, (upper engine, front trans, and rear trans mounts) which is currently the best price out there for the COMPLETE set.

We have a special going on now, when you purchase a Turbo Tech Racing upper engine mount, you can upgrade and get a set of Prothane trans bushings (both front and rear) for only $39.99 when you purchase them the same time as the upper mount.

These have had great results and many members on this forum have them, we have sold 100's already and they perform great.

There are a couple "how to's" on this site to install this mount.

Also it comes with a full color 4 page instruction manual to install the upper mount.

From what I hear turbo tech is better then b woody and alot more people prefer Turbo Tech over bwoody. I was gonna but mine from turbo tech, but fell short of money and ended up filling the mounts in myself. Takes quite a bit longer then buying better mounts, but it all came through. I recommend the mount over the torque dampener. And for everybody whos bent the ITD, learn to adjust it right. Thats why your bending it and theres a thread on here that explains why you keep bending them.

i recommend TTR whether you buy the solid upper mount or the ingalls..... both great products and most certainly a good company.

I've been happy with my ingalls for quite some time. no wheel hop and no bending. but i would have bought the TTR solid engine mount if it were available at the time.

i have all my mounts filled and i get rattle when the a/c is on. mainly when i slow down and the rpms slope up and down around 1000 and when im pulling off. when im at idle it vibrates just a little. i dont have the torque dampener but if you loosen it up im sure it will get rid of the vibration a little but will also let the engine move a little more and maybe give you a little more wheel hop.

I have the ingalls but I'd recommend getting the solid motor mounts. My ITD's screws holding the dampner to the brackets are starting to rust...

Ingalls will bend if you dont install it properly, or adjust it without knowing exactly how to adjust it.
Since I put it on I constantly get 2.2 60ft times, and Ive pulled 2.1 60fters on stock rubber at 32psi tire pressure with my ITD, and its square and true.
I painted my brackets and if there was any type of bending or unnatural lateral forces, it would have shown up in the paint job

My car is daily driven, and imo, mounts are complete overkill. This isnt a racecar....I dont want to drive to work every day with it feeling like one.
Not to mention, if even the slight vibs from the TD are to much for you....it takes under 2 minutes to remove or install.
Just a different opinion

I don't feel the Vibrations from the Motor mount are bad at all! U get a little bit with the ITD, and a little more with the mount, but not very bad at all compaired to my buddies SRT-4. I like the mount better so far, but I still think I need to put in the Trans bushing and probably a Traction bar aswell. But then again I have the Bad Drive mod.
