Your just going to run a 3.0 and nothing else?

I have heard of people maxing out the stock injectors on a stock pulley. You may run really lean with a 3.0 and nothing else. And running lean may lead to problems with cylinder number 4. Along with other problems

yeah i believe factory injectors will be maxed out.. depends on elevation though too.. high elevation will be fine but sea level will most likey be bad..

That will be a dangerous setup. You should really get bigger injectors.

I will only have the car with the pulley on it for a month. It will only run on 92 octane and will get the cooler plugs for it.

If your only going to have it on for a month, why not wait a month untill you have supporting mods. Better safe than sorry! I would hate to see a post in a month saying "WTF my engine blew up!!"

I will only have the car for another month. The pulley is going on and the car wont even be driven that much.

You will blow it up, this is a horrible idea. Do not modify the performance of your motor unless you are going to do it correctly and that means a proper tune as well and that does not include some out of the box **** tune.

Let me tell you that you are risking $4000-5000 dollars of your own money if you decide to do this, if thats not an issue then do it.

reviving this thread for my own questions....... 1st is why does Cobalt-addiction have a stage 1 kit where its tuned with 3.0 pulley
second is what about running a 3.1 pulley untuned and one step colder plugs should this be a problem

Running any smaller pulley than stock on stock injectors is not smart. It doenst matter if you change the tune. Im not trying to be mean but if your not gonna mod the car correctly dont do it at all.
