they come apart just like the stockers. cept you gotta take out the 4 screws. i took them apart cause the turn signal bulb int the right headlight blew up and i couldnt get the pieces out. plus i am gonna reseal them so they dont leak. and i am gonna get all the waterspots off of the inside of the lens

all the led's are getting replaced. the halo rings and the ones up top. i took them apart with a hair dryer just like you do to the stockers, but you gotta take the 4 screws out in the housing
you can put hid's in these projectors just fine
the depth of the projector is about 6 inches. the mounting plate is 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 square. the lens diameter is 3 inches.

i am buying the exact same tyoe of led for the top, just in a blue. they will just plug right in like the other ones. the halo led's are gonna have to be soldered off and back on
If you get the same ones that I got, you will have to rewire them. That is what my how to went in to.

oh. ****. but why would you need to rewire them? because of the higher wattage???

It is quite easy. It is because the new LED's need a higher minimum voltage to light up. It is not difficult at all. It is as hard as originally wiring the LED's and Halo's.
^^^ yes, I'm thinking of putting in real projectors that are made for the proper bulbs. I haven't really bothered looking too hard since I wasn't ready to take the light apart. However, now that I know the dimensions, it'll be happening sometime soon.
And for everyone else, yes you can use HID's in the projectors, however the focal point is off which produces a couple dark spots/rings around the light. Projectors that were meant for the right HID bulb length will produce better light output.

When you took your projectors apart did you happen to measure the high beam reflector width? I am curious. I took mine apart today, and I want to replace the high beam reflector piece - I didn't measure it tho. Do you think this would work?
