I got the big ss/sc wing on my car and im trying to get if off so i can put a rubber gasket in between the wing and the trunk lid. its not mounted solid enough for me. anyways, i got all 4 nuts off under the lid and the adhesive tape is off, but its stuck where the bolts come through the trunk lid. any ideas? please!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Try taking the center part out and pulling each tower off alone. i did it that way and it worked fine

 

i didnt know the center piece came apart. im gonna go look at it now. thanks.

i cant figure out how to take the center piece out. do those side caps come off? if so, how?

 

yes, you need to heat them up and then get some fishing line behind them to get the sticky off and they come off. I think anyway. lol

 

good idea. thanks. it looks like the bolts are stuck through the holes of the lid. im afraid im gonna tear them outta the wing..........or bend my trunk lid...........
