ok im looking at buying my stage 2 off of crate engine depot for $550 but i dont see that it comes with a reflash code or is that something the dealer has to do? b/c they said it would cost around 370 for instalation!! so i just wondering if that comes with everything b/c if so im just goign to buy it off there and save 200$$

 

Reflash is done by the dealer. Go to one that has done a few installs already. It will cut you time in half. If you can, get a flat rate to do the install. You will retain your warrenty regardless of buying from ced if you have a dealer install it.

 

crate engine depot sells the complete stage 2 kit with the ecu calibration code. the dealer has to take the number provided in the kit, download the ecu tune from GM, use their tec2 ecu tool to flash the ecu to the correct parameters. $370 is a bit steep for install but ive heard of worse.

 

I had stage 2 installed for $150.00 CAD flat rate!!!!!!!!!!! in Toronto Ontario.

 

i dont think they have ever installed something like this and how do you get a flat rate?

 

Forget stage 2. Do Airbox mod, Exhaust and get TM removed via HPT.

 

i just got mine installed from ced friday, great guys, it was 550 for parts and 250 for install, which included my pedal covers
