new 17" Drag Wheels black/chrome lip with 215/50/17 kumho tires, drop coming soon!

Hey Dallas Guys,

Can we gather a day for someone to help me with installing springs on my car. Im emailing a guy now about some ss springs but i might just go further down. Im just wanting to see if anyone local has access to a spring compressor and could help me install these. Beer will be on me! Heres my new rims. My rims/tires costed me $770 out the door, chrome lugs, chrome valve stems, lifetime tire replacement, free balancing for life and any other defects. My boss had a hookup at discount tire and talked to the guy for me which knocked off about $225 which was awesome.

You can rent a spring compressor from most local auto shops, ie autozone etc, you just have to pay like 30-40 bucks and when you return the compressor you get your money back, that is what i did when i installed mine, wheels looks good and will look even better when the drop comes good luck

Josh, do you only post in the South Central forum? You should post the pics in the Pictures and Videos Section. Nice wheels by the way.

please get back with me. I have been looking over the site tonight for a few hours now and im not sure which drop to order. I have checked CM Motorsports, SSC, Eibach and Sprint springs and read stuff about all of them. Im looking for a comfortable and not bumpy ride with a good control on it. I have read good stuff about the SSC and im thinking of going this way now.

Anyone think the SSC would be good on my car and the stock shocks would be good for awhile until i upgrade.

Josh

Eibach, Progressive, and SSC make the best springs, IMO. If you want a lower drop, go with Eibach. I like my Eibachs. They make the car look great, and the ride is firm. Not in a bad way, just more stiff.
