Doesn't it feel great when you drive to the dealership (oil change, rotate tires, air filter etc...) and you pull into service with your ss s/c and behind you is a person around the same age as you but with the LS model.

I think every time i drive my ss around and i pull up next to another balt that has the base or LT model, I think I give them that great feeling inside that says to them, hey...i need to upgrade. the ss is just overall better!


Yeah I'm bragging about the SS S/C but I love this car and I think everyone who has a base model (saying you could afford it) should one day get the cobalt ss or the new 08's that are coming out (RS or cobalt sport i think its called.)


I just really think this car is that amazing and hold a lot of potential if put given the correct elbow grease and cash into it.

Well I had to brag about the car. I had it for a solid 3 months now and I haven't found not one flaw in it. I mean, of course you could always find a flaw, but I still enjoy this car and it still makes me feel like its the first time sitting in it. It's just a remarkable car to my eyes.

With this price like almost every cobalt lover has said, Its worth every penny and still has the speed for some other cars that are worth twice as much =D

I'm sure my gf gets that same feeling when she pulls into my driveway with her 335i and says "I'll bet he wishes he had my kick ass car instead of his economy car."

You can think your cooler then LT owners all you want, but if you put your life in perspective your a small fish in a big sea and your SS/SC isn't ****. I own one, I know. I like the car, but I don't go around thinking I'm better then people for having it.

ahhh i have an LS.... and honstly i dont get that feeling.. I could have gotten the SS.. have the cash HAD a REDLINE right before that but opted for the LS.. it's like saying " I drive a corvette and when i pull up to a Cobalt SS i make that person feel like they need to upgrade"...If they didnt want the LS or LT they didnt have to get it.. I just hate when people Make it seem like the LS and LT coupe or Sedan are for people who cant afford an SS... I meant it as for some people look at your car and are like wow i really want that car.

i think that because when i got my cobalt i didn't have any knowledge on it and the dealer told me that this was the best model you could get (back when i got my leased LS) and i didn't know there was an SS s/c out there. so i was like dammm


so one day i was driving and saw a ss s/c and i said dam i need to get that car and i got the 07 and bought it.


so im sorry if thats the impression that i gave. its not what i was trying to reach out.

but the vette is a gorgeous car. i should upgrade to that one day haha

 

na no offense to you bro.. i understand it just some people forget that were all the same ca just a diffrent model...i bought this Car cause overall it's awesome and withe the ecotec being an aesome base platfor to start performance mods.. and the stylish lines it's an awesome car...the only thing that sucks about the LS and LT is the tuning.. but what can ya do

 

yeah true. i mean i thought the cobalt was great and i had the LS model.
then when i found out about the SS, it became my dream car and now that i have it. forget the celicas, forget the SE-R, forget the skyline and forget the ferrari...well not that. i love the enzo haha. but i think this car is amazing.

but i say the best part is flooring it in 2nd gear after a perfect shift from 1st and you hear the car roar....=D

im getting all excited just talking about it. im taking a drive around town =D
