Thats good. When I drove my car off the lift and started it for the first time with my ARK, it startled me, lol. I was like oh yeah I got a catback now, lol.

I'm interested to know if there's any cutting involved as well. BTW, is that the Touring or Performance exhaust? Sounds great.

Cool video man. Good call on the GM parts.

The GM exhaust is the best sounding exhaust by far.

sorry for not repsonding.......actually this is the performance exhaust. There is cutting involved but not the down pipe. I had it installed for $65...they guy took 30 mins. to take off the old one and intsall the new one. I think he cut the old exhaust in the middle in order to get it out. Then i believe he did some cutting around the muffler as well. No welding was needed. The new exhaust is all bolt-on. Hopefully with the new header im ordering from GMPP...it will sound more agressive...thanks for the comments.

sounds about right, shouldn't take a whole lot to install these things.

the exhaust manifold will help, but look at replacing the downpipe as well, that will change the tone and help power quite a bit over the oem 2.2 one.

Yes, you cut infront of the rear axle. But dont let the word "cut" intimidate you. It only takes 10 seconds to go through pipe or at least for me I did. Really this is not a hard mod to install at all. I lift does help though, lol.

Not bad. What did you use to cut it? Can it be done with a hacksaw?

Nice. this is the first real good sound clip of that exhaust on a 2.2 and it sounds just like my 2.0

the only complaint I have about the exhaust on the cobalts is the tailpipe sticks out too far. I loved the stock exhaust on the Equinox, it was tucked under the rear bumper and u couldnt see it unless u were standing 50ft away
