Thumbs up Just got my ZZP header/DP installed..

And I must say, it makes the car sound so f'n sweet. It has more pull towards the higher RPM's. I definately recommend it to anyone wanting a good header & downpipe.

One question, though. When I got home (drove it kind of hard on the way, sounded too good not to drive it hard..) I got out of my car and opened the hood, it smelt as if something was melting or burning.. Maybe this is just the header/DP breaking in, but I just wanna make sure. Thanks guys!

I just put mine on saturday and as I was leavint the exhaust shop the guy said with most headers there is a "break-in" period whick consists of letting the car idle for about 20 minutes, letting it cool completley and then idling it again for another 10 min.

They are now shipping them with the extensions whereas at the beginning (when I ordered mine) they didn't...

I love the power increase but I keep blowing the gaskets, it either isn't machined right or warped and I really don't want to take it off again. I'm thinking of just welding it and being done with it...

the combo will replace your exhaust manifold and will flow better for your SC setup..

it's an header (exhaust mani) and downpipe which will replace everything down to your catback exhaust, get a catback for some nice air for you SC for some nice gains

Negative rep for not posting pics! J/K

Congrats man. That burning smell goes away after a day or 2.

Good luck with your new found power. Makes getting on the highways a whole lot better.

haha **** god to know I get on it everyday... so i wont do that when I get it installed haha...

how much was it for install? and how hard is it to do yourself? i'm going back and forth between installing it myself or not... it depends on the price really... and also if i do a full catback or just an axle back to compliment it

how much is your favorite brand of booze? and how much do you charge yourself? it's easy to do man... you just have to make sure all the gaskets are in and everythings a tight seal ... getting the belt on would probably be the hardest part but even that shouldn't be too bad..

sc install >>>>>>>>>>turbo install

if you have all the parts for an sc kit, it's pretty much just an extensive bolton

Thanks bro. Good to know. +rep.

Thanks man!
He also said, DO NOT beat on it for a weak and after that week re-check the torque on all the bolts.

How do you like the sound now? I'm not a real big fan of the way mine sounds now.

You will know it... Some people aren't having problems. Its the gasket between the header collector and downpipe. It will sound like exhaust is coming through the dash, impossible to miss.

i think it's supposed to come with it because the O2 sensor is mounted in a different place from stock ie on the DP and not the header
