Question about air/fuel's

Alright, let's start off with the car and the mods.. 2006 ss s/c, gmpp stage 2 with stage 3 pulley, catless dp, airbox mod, uego wideband

Now the car ran super rich with just the stage 2 pulley. Now the other weekend i put the stage 3 pulley on. So this is my concern, driving along in second gear, at about 60km, or 40mph, and punch it af's go to 12.8 and don't drop below 12.5 until 5 grand and then after 5 it's 11.5 and drops to 10.3 or so real fast....

My question is, is it running too lean?

Sounds like your good to me and a lil rich up top even but thats the Stage II tune for ya keepin things cool with a lil extra fuel, not ideal but whatever.

I'd rather be a little on the safe side for now

I think you're too rich at your peak and it's probably robbing you power. You shouldn't be in the 10s.

Something also useful to purchase is a EGT probe. That will also give you a idea of if you're good or not in good shape.

that would be the stock gm tuning.

unless you have access to hpt, or know someone that does. you're stuck with it.

It could use alittle leaning out to 11:1 on the top end but that's fine. You want to be rich on an F/I car

That's all i wanted to know, as long as it isn't too lean below 5 grand (ie, 12's), that's perfect
