that seems about right, those blazers are high 13 sec trucks I think, so a modded balt should hang. The TB is also not AWD, so they can have problems launching as well. Its not that simple to plant 400hp, esp with a 4.10 rear end.

Nah, the TB SS is GM's muscle truck. I drove a few while working at Chevy, really nice, handle great for a truck and have awesome, corvette-like brakes. They are really aggressive, but still almost 4400 lbs.

The TB SS's only come in AWD

The LS's and LT's can be either RWD or AWD, with a 3.7, 4.1, or one other rear differential

Incorrect...They come in AWD as well as RWD versions. The early 06 TBSS's were the fastest, then the later 06's and the 07's are the slowest ones because of GM's new love for torque management. They are 13 second quarter mile beasts, that with a couple bolt on's and a nice tune will run 12's all day long. That's pretty damn good for a 5K lb beast. The LS models were 4500lbs, the SS's are much heavier because of the larger brakes, engine and other heavy duty components.

SS TB's can be had in RWD only or AWD. Unless they have changed it for 2007 or I am just a complete idiot? I would have sworn my neighbors TB SS was just RWD? Ill have to find out.

Trust me...You have the option for EITHER AWD or RWD on the TBSS's. The AWD helps with launching, but puts down a bit less whp because of parasitic loss through the drivetrain. Even though, the RWD versions still hook pretty damn nicely. Do not underestimate em, cause their big, they have alot of potential because of the powerplant being used.

my close friedn has one, me and him raced once, both stock, well i think i had air box mod, anyway, from a 40 i took him by at least 2-3 cars, becuase hes awd, but from a dig he had me by half a car at least, those things are monsters, now he cant touch me, even tho he did a resonator delete and swapped the muffler, and put the K&N CAI in, i got more

With intake and tune they run mid 13s. now with intake, tune, cat back and stall we have members running high 12s.

my buddy has a stage 2 in his cobalt and when i had headers and exhaust he couldnt beat me and he ran a 13.5 he said. Now with the blower and drag rads vs his stage 2 and nitrous still loses and hes running a 75 shot kit i put in with a progressive set up so its not a big jolt right of the batt

jeep srt8s are nice but you can get a tbss for 32 out the door the jeeps cheapest 45k. the jeeps are faster but for the 13k difference in price and no tuning software out . No thanks. you spend 2300 bucks on a trailblazer ss have a truck runnign low 13s high 12s.
