Question Needing some new tread for the SS/SC

I know this is prob in here some where but I am really looking into getting some new tread. I dont want to go all expensive and put the P-ZEROS back on. I was looking for something a little bit cheaper and was wanting some suggestions. I have looked into Pep-Boys and at a local shop but pretty much it is still going to at least cost 800 +. Has anyone found a good tire and price? I dont mind even shipping from Korea....there is a lot of good tires over there right now I know!!

check out discounttiredirect.com. I got my Kuhmo escta SPTs for $432 shipped. They still spin with my mods but are better than the P-Zeros and ride better to.

I have Kuhmo escattas (sp) on my car right now. Good wear on them. either that or the nittos 555r's, a little more expensive but better wear.

I always go to Tire Rack www.tirerack.com because they have reviews! You can read what owners say and how they rate the different tires. Way better than just a couple of guys saying "you will like these". They rate them on all kinds of things like wear, traction, noise levels, wet traction and other things.

I know the pepboys here wanted $275 each for the Pirellis, what a joke. Mail order they are less than $200 last time I looked.

If you check on the 225/40-18 at Tire Rack the #1 rated is a Kuhmo that is way cheaper than the big names.

After you've picked the tire you want just look for the best deal, easy.
