Nope! Did you disconnect your battery before you unplugged the MAF sensor? And then reconnect the battery AFTER reinstalling and reconnecting the MAF sensor in the Typhoon tube?

you can go to any chevy dealer and get the most up to date flash for free and that fixes the issue.

I don't remember if the MAF module can be installed "backwards", but you might want to check to see if the "open" side of the MAF is towards the filter as it was originally.

Anytime you throw a CEL, it is important that you get it checked. Go to a local parts store, I believe Autozone will scan your codes for free. You need to make sure that you threw a p0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean ECM/PCM.

If so, don't worry about it. All aftermarket intakes can trigger this code. It's not an issue w/ the intake, it's an issue with the airflow exceeding certain table's values. A good professional tune could avoid this. You will most likely throw the code again. It is more a matter of your location (temp, elev, humidity, etc.) than your intake. Just make sure to get the code read next time. The codes are very useful at determining issues or even avoiding catastrophes.
