So I went to my local muffler shop for them to order me a catback. the guy looks at my car and tells me I already had 2.5'' piping he told me to get a turbo muffler which would get a better sound and the same if not more hp. so I went ahead and got it I felt a difference and the sound is great in my opinion heres a video of what it sounds like http://youtube.com/watch?v=yBjMFSmne7M

I think it sounds pretty good. I love how my cobalt sounds but i hate how the muffler looks so im shoping around too. I want the GM exaust but its expensive..

Why do they call it a "Turbo" muffler?

Yea, you just got BSed. A muffler does not give you more HP, just sound.

 

well it is 2.5 until the axle then it necks down to 2.25. sounds good. also if you are looking for the gm sport catback ive got one for sell let me know.

 

oh well its def. a higher flow then the damn stock muffler and I felt a difference

 

It will give you a little more flow than the stock "pork thigh" muffler.

I have the corsa sport exhaust, I paid $725 for it and it was worth every penny.

 

I had the Corsa touring for my 2.4 I got it for $615 Shipped from intense-racing.com

Thats a damn dirty low price but sadly they dont sell them anymore ='(

I'm gonna assume you got it done at Kraft Street Muffler, if so what you got is the Flowmaster 40 "Original". I got the same one its decent. The only thing I don't like about that shop is that all they do is crush bends.
