Hey everyone, trying to set up a meet on Friday, Nov 4th. As far as where, thats still up in the air, we got some pretty good possible locations though. Pretty much the plan is to meet in either Howell or Brighton around 4pm, then we'll cruise down Grand River to whichever city we don't start it.

sweet, i'm getting excited

I've been checking on the weather too. The past few days it said 30% chance of rain. Today it says 0% with a high of 55. Hopefully it stays that way/gets a little warmer. I was almost worried about rain for a bit. Now all I have to do is get the car...

Weather men are usually wrong though...on the day of our 1st meet they said it was going to rain and it turned out it was partly cloudy...remember that sneaky? lol...Im getting excited, man this is going to be fun!! :beer:

Ok, kinda weird question...but i have no reason to keep my emblems after i debadged my car...does neone want my old emblems, if so i can bring them to the meet on the 4th if anyone is interrested.

if you took the SS emblem off of the dash trim, i want it to the max.

Alright everyone. I've got a rough time outline for the meet. This way people who may not make it at 4 have a rough idea of where we will be, and so I can make reservations at chilis, at least let them know how many people are going. I figure I'll make it for 20-25, since theres about 14 people going now, plus some are bringing friends. Anyways.... Time frame

I figure everyone will be getting to meijer around 4pm. We'll stay there till 5:30. This will give everyone time to get to meet everyone, check out the cars, get some pictures in, as well as give time for the straglers to join :) . We'll start the cruise at 5:30 then. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to where we will be eating. Reservations at chili's will be at 6.

I used to live on collingwood. Now im on abbott. I have a Silver SS. let me know next time u come to E L and ill buy you a shot. I am very interested in this meet though. I used to be in a car club back in the day and ive missed out on alot of the new ideas and techniques. even though im only 25 im old school back in 1996 i used to have a 428 whp camaro that my dad and i built when i was 16. it had alot of time money and love into it and it got ripped off and cleaned out by a car thief ring. i found it 3 hours later choppped to bits. i havent driven a fast car since. I now am in love with my Cobalt SS. I want to get back in this new mod community and make some friends. ill try and make it down but im broke as hell so well see.

I am Definitely old enough to drink but I have to agree with you about the start time. I work till 4:30 so I don't think I am going to make it since it will be hell on I-96 coming from Lansing and heading to Brighton.

96 isnt too bad between lansing and howell, all the traffic starts at brighton.. hopefully we'll get to see you guys there though!

btw- you guys wouldnt have to supply to me, thats already taken care of :) i'll be 21 in december, and it'll be nice once i can drink legally

Alright everyone. It's almost here now. Tomorrow at 4 pm. Once again if you have any questions, feel free to call me. I will be working from 3pm-3:30am. I check my phone around 7ish when I go on break, and will call anyone back if you leave me a message. My phone is off at work, so I won't know if you called unless I get a message. If you haven't got my number, pm me and I will pm you back around 4am, when I get home from work tonight. If you can't make it to meijer by 5, I'd recomend calling, to see where we're at. Depending on how things go, we may or may not be ready to leave. I have Chili's # on my phone. They told me to call about 2-3 hours in advance, and they would get ready for us.

Can't wait. Planning to get up pretty early (at least pretty early after working so late) to get my car ready. She'll be nice and shiny.
