you should definatley come out! i'm out in east lansing quite often, usually over by grand river/collingwood area. I've never seen ya though, so you should come out.

Alright everyone. I've got a rough time outline for the meet. This way people who may not make it at 4 have a rough idea of where we will be, and so I can make reservations at chilis, at least let them know how many people are going. I figure I'll make it for 20-25, since theres about 14 people going now, plus some are bringing friends. Anyways.... Time frame

I figure everyone will be getting to meijer around 4pm. We'll stay there till 5:30. This will give everyone time to get to meet everyone, check out the cars, get some pictures in, as well as give time for the straglers to join . We'll start the cruise at 5:30 then. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to where we will be eating. Reservations at chili's will be at 6.

i cant stress enough how important it will be to go the speed limit on most of the cruise, grand river is the main road between howell and brighton, other than I-96 and it is pretty well covered by the police. aside from going the speed limit, we're going to stick out like a sore thumb with 10+ cars that just look like they're up to no good. so, keep your head on straight and please dont do anything stupid.


the areas marked in red are commonly patroled by the howell police, and the michigan state police, so just keep your eyes out.

I was going to say something similar on friday before we left, but I guess the sooner the better. I agree completely. Last thing we need is everyone thinking the cobalt and redline is always up to no good.

I used to live on collingwood. Now im on abbott. I have a Silver SS. let me know next time u come to E L and ill buy you a shot. I am very interested in this meet though. I used to be in a car club back in the day and ive missed out on alot of the new ideas and techniques. even though im only 25 im old school back in 1996 i used to have a 428 whp camaro that my dad and i built when i was 16. it had alot of time money and love into it and it got ripped off and cleaned out by a car thief ring. i found it 3 hours later choppped to bits. i havent driven a fast car since. I now am in love with my Cobalt SS. I want to get back in this new mod community and make some friends. ill try and make it down but im broke as hell so well see.

I am Definitely old enough to drink but I have to agree with you about the start time. I work till 4:30 so I don't think I am going to make it since it will be hell on I-96 coming from Lansing and heading to Brighton.

 

96 isnt too bad between lansing and howell, all the traffic starts at brighton.. hopefully we'll get to see you guys there though!

btw- you guys wouldnt have to supply to me, thats already taken care of i'll be 21 in december, and it'll be nice once i can drink legally
