hurst shifter..

any help is appreciated.

RaineMan and Sunburst_SS helped install my hurst STS today. everything about the shifter is great. except for a few things, but the search button answered most of my questions, like the little problem with the knob being upside down, and the mile of space after 5th gear, just adjust the left cable. this i know

what i dont understand is, if my shifter is in first gear, i can grab the knob and it turns like 1/8th of a turn to the left. it does it in any gear, actually. it wont go at all to the right, just the left. any one have and ideas?? thanks

Is the nut directly under the knob tight?

that little plastic hexkey bolt is either loose, or may need to be replaced.

your going to have to disassemble and tighten it down.

yeah basically the little hex screw is not completly tight. on a lot of the hurst shifters, they dont stay tight. mine moves too even with the loctite its pretty common on some of them
