There's no such thing on the Canadian models as far as I'm aware . I tend to shift at 3000rpm consistently when I'm driving normal sometimes a little higher depending on how fast I want to get going. In slower moving traffic it's not uncommon for me to shift around 2500rpm but as with Wikky when I'm racing I'll let 'er run right up to 6400 or so (just before the rev limiter) before switching to the next gear .

u should shift when you hear ur engine go bing bing bing bing bing (bouncing off rev limiter) LOL idk durr, shift it like an auto, at around 2-3 during normal driving and spirited more its obvious, although it would be funny as hell to see someone bring each gear up to redline slowly from 1st to like 3rd during driving normal ha!

If you have the SS S/C I shift out of first around 3k-4k and then around 2500-3000 in all other gears for casual driving. Racing...redline.

A message from John Madden:

"When you want to shift, you have to push the clutch in with your left foot, then move the shifter with your right hand to the gear you want to engage."

Thank you!

1st to 2nd 3000~3500
2nd to 3rd 2750~3250
3rd to 4th 2500~3000
4th to 5th 2250~2750

This should get you to 40~50 mph which here in phx is about the speed of most streets. I know lots of people don't even bother getting into 5th when on streets but I tend not to drive with the engine sitting at high rpm's to save gas and the engine. Friends used to give me **** when I would drive in 5th on the street then I would give them **** for running outa gas before me

What is your mpg typically, and how much street vs. freeway do you drive?

I have pulled out 28mpg on my weekly drive to and from work which is about 50/50 street and freeway. The trip is roughly 25miles round trip. The only thing that can kill the mpg is the use of the supercharger so I tend to be a lil soft on the gas ... I put in gas last night at q-tip (quicktrip) and I am currently getting 26mpg cus I had to rush a lil but to get to work this morning.
