Bumper Modification
Is there a good thread about removing the front bumper and/or replacing the grills ?

I believe there is if you search for it.
Basic how-to: pop hood, take out the plastic pins holding the grill piece in, remove the screws on the front bow tie, remove bow tie, remove grill, do your thing, replace. Bottom grill, pop out, replace with whatever you want.
