White SS S/C?

Ok soooooo since I lost my last Cobalt I will be getting a new one soon. I'm looking at getting one fairly cheap (around 16k) and I would really like to have it painted white b/c well.... white is sexy. Id expect to spend around 1-2k for the painting but since I know a few peeps I might even be able to get it a little cheaper in the end (depending on the cost of the paint). Just wondering if yall thought it would be a good idea to have a White SS S/C b/c I really think it would. Even after I get my car I will need to aquire funds to get it painted so It will take a few months just wanted to know everyones input on the matter.

ok, if you're going to paint a cobalt, why paint it black which is by far the most popular color... if you're going to spend the time and money to paint it, do something original. if you want white, go for it.

Its your car so paint it whatever color makes you happy! Does it really matter what anyone else thinks other than yourself? I do not like white cars at all but done correctly they can look very clean. My favorite is the pearl white like on the caddy's and 3000gt's but that will cost a little more. Buy your car and have fun with it :0)

price really isnt a big issue though b/c Id be getting the car painted for the price of the paint and not much more if at all (gotta love working in the car industry- even tho I do jack **** when I do something). Just didnt want to have an aftermarket induction when I can get one that is already made to have it on there. And like i said would probally be in like 4-6 months

I was planning on doing the white ss/sc, do something else so I can be one of the first to paint it white.

No, seriously, do whatever you want. If you like black a lot, go with black, if you like white, then go for it......after I paint mine white.

Nah man, I was joking. i want to do that so bad. it WILL be my first mod. But you'll probably beat me. I won't be able to do it until I get my ss/sc, first off, then it will have to wait until summer. But yeah man, white ss/sc FTW. I just like being original soI have to be selfish.

I'd agree with you on that. but painting can be costly, and people learn to lvoe their stock colors. Besides, also, painting will make the car worth less when its sold.

fyi engine bay is color matched, so you will need to pull the engine, unless you get a black one, then i would leave the engine bay black

or a red one...that'd look pretty goodd..imo..if you had the red car painted black then had the insides of doors/trunk/engine bay red...
2 toned anyways.
i wouldn't paint it black though
black is a
pain in the ASS for everything.
I still say go with the gray metallic look...it'd be one of a kindddd
kinda like this...

but darker, and it wouldn't be a truck, lol
