GMPP CAI filter...washable?

Does anyone know if the GM Performance Parts Cold Air Intake filter is washable and reusable?

You can get a replacement filter for $30 from Crate Engine Depot. I'm not sure if they're washable but if not that's your best bet.

Aren't these things normally washable?

I gotcha, I know K&N filters can be washed and the reoiled but since GMPP isn't oiled IDK.


BTW... I copied your setup with the GMPP filter and SAI, I actually got the extra same shielded filter as you from Autozone. Thanks for that thread man, reps.

i dont see y not, it seems to be like the Dryflow...


thing i would do , is buy another filter, and wash the old one when you get the new one, to make sure it doesnt deteriorate

Get an AEM dryflow it's washable and about $30 also.
