your timing.

max, WOT.

for instance, i can cram 28 degree's down my car. this doesn't mean it likes it.

whats everyone doing for max timing. 23? 25? 12? 18?

keep in mind, i do have a huge window to play with, since the water injection. so i can add, and subtract at will.

I'm running 23-24 degrees on my meth mix with a 2.6" pulley.

after about 25.5 or 26 degrees car really doesn't make anymore power anyway, kind of a waste

tried it out on the dyno, but maybe with a bigger pulley it might help, but with a 2.55 like I'm running and on pump gas with meth, 25 is all it will take. Track tested also.

maybe 8-10 hp or so. I have it at 25 degrees from @3500 rpm and up though, mid range pulls like a beast straight to redline.

Intense plate it too thin to tap for the meth nozzle from what I've seen. the t.b. spacer works good though, just need to get the solonoid valve too so vacuum doesn't suck the meth into the motor and flood it.

hmmmm.
i have 60's just sitting in my basement right now collecting dust. im basically at max on the fuel and timing. it has nothing more in it. from 2500-7200 on my "happy" map it sets at 25.5 degree's. cramming 27 gains 2 hp, but also running a bigger risk of eating something as well.

maybe i'll drop pulley sizes, throw the 60's in, and work from there. the main reason behind this is. im stuck. i feel like i hit the wall with the 2.8

oh i know they are. the reason i asked this. ***** out, 12.0 a/f 25-26 degree's of timing on 91 octane and meth injection. the car put down 245/229. low numbers yes. keep in mine it was well over 100 degree's inside the shop, and about 75-80% humidity. it had nothing left in it. there was nothing else i could do to it to make anymore power.

not really low very dyno is differnet and weather does play a part, you would benefit from the 60's though on the current setup

thats what i was thinking, but why stick with the 2.8 when the 60's open up a huge door for so much more after that?

dunno, still kicking around the idea.

this particular dyno does not have any air flow. it has a small squirrel cage fan on the front of it. thats it. the door is a good 30 ft or so away from the dyno. so needless to say, the iat's were over 100 degree's. i do understand heat plays a huge roll in power.

the smallest i can go on the gm hub without machining the snout, and doing the oversized tensioner.

so what. 2.7? im not trying to kill the car either, hence the meth injection. it will only help to a degree

every car i tune, i have a saftey window built into the map itself. then again. all it takes is that one time where you close that window to blow something up.
