13.722 @ 102.93 mph

Here's my new personal best, as the title says, 13.722 @ 102.93 mph:

Unfortunately I didn't get that one on video, but I did get a 13.92 pass captured:

Cody, time to update the top 10 again!

Ya I guess I could've had a little more of a subtle title to this thread...

Either way, no, I wasn't using slicks. I haven't changed anything since the last time I ran. It was just a good night and I got lucky and got some good launches.

Don't forget, the track is at 3200 ft elevation...
Put me at sea level on a better track and I'm sure I'll do better.

Good runs. You would of trapped higher at a better elevation for sure. Very good 60". Excelent launch tech. You have no idea how I can not wait for my car to be done. exedy clutch/flywheel, H/E, dual pass, and drag radials, DP w/ highflow cat, GMP manifold is all new mods for me. There is no reason not to break into the 12s with those added mods.

To be quite honest, my car is just a bunch of bolt-on mods. The key to making them quick is a good 60'. If you look at my timeslip, I'm going through the 330' mark in less then 6 seconds. I'm not sure about all your mods, but I might have a few that you're not aware of... Come chat with me next time you see me around. I'm more then happy to show you what I've done.

what do you launch at? and do you redline in first gear? ive heard a few ppl say they bring it to about 6000-6500 in first then redline the rest.? whats your method? cause those are wicked times considering your mods..well the mods that i know about

Lol! Believe me, it's just a lot of practice.

Either way, I launch at about 2500-3000 rpm and ride the clutch out (don't dump it!!!) until it's all the way out. Then I ease into the throttle and shift when my shift light goes off. My redline is well above 6500 rpm, but we can talk about that later. I have found from experience that shifting early from first to second gear can slow down the 330' time.

Just practice, practice, practice. See what works for you. Some say to stay out of the groove of the track, but I personally try to stay in it. Play with tire pressure if you think it will help. Once you get around the 2.1 to 2.2 second 60 foot on street tires, you know you've got the hang of it.

That's my advice anyways.
