stg 2 belt in calgary!

hey guys does anyone have an extra stg 2 belt kicking around? i think i have a lil belt squeal so i was gonna change out the belt to see if it helped!

your squeal might actually be from the pulley not the belt.. put a little grease/oil on where the pulley meets up the with the motor.. fixed my squeal in my 92 GT..

Go and get some sylicone dry lube from a auto parts store spray it of and squeel is gone.

and u just spray it on all the pulleys or just the one i think is sqeauling?

WD40 is OK.......but it attracts dust and it will be squealing again. Best thing to use is Gunk or a white paste grease.

I'm still running the stock belt with my 2.8" pulley. I changed out the 2.5" idler pulley for a 3.0" idler. This way, I never have to worry about finding a Stage 2 belt.

My nate pulley made some noise I would check your belt alignment. I had to pull the hub back off the end of the blower a bit compared to where the pulley was sitting with the stage 2 pulley.

i just used some of that silicone spray larry recomended and worked well!
