The supercharger shouldn't. The turbo uses exhaust gases, an SC shouldn't change it.

it would change it...as your pretty much hearing a bigger boom from each cylinder firing....but the slight change between n/a an supercharged exhaust tones would easily be drowned out by the supercharger whine

fi definitely changes the tone of your exhaust. The more air you have going into the engine, the more air is going to come out. With more air being pushed through your exhaust, the exhaust is going to be deeper and a bit more resonant.

this is an old thread, but it is a good explaination of what changes your exhaust note, and how you can change it

ohhh ya.. it totally changes the exhaust note..

superchargers (roots at least) give it a raspy, whiny exhaust... the turbo does not

do you mean that turbos dont make it raspy or that they dont change the tone? listen to a turbo J body, then an na j, the turbo model will have a much deeper and more aggressive sound.
