Can anyone tell me how to put the stage three into 100 octane mode? Before I go any further, I DONOT have a shift light!!! Never did!!! Now can you tell me? I am waiting for some one to phone me back from GM here in Halifax with an answer, but I dont know if he is having any luck. The car is an 07. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

ss/scs dont have a shift light.

i believe your 100 octane is obtained through your DIC buttons while the car is turned off.
it will also disengage if your car detects knock (ie, the octane isnt high enough)

but all of this should be in your instruction manual?

 

There was nothing in the manual about hundred octane mode. According to what I found on faq pdf file you have to turn the car on, not running, turn the cruize on and hold the set button till the shift light flashes. This seems to be the only info i can find. But thanks for the reply.

 

well technically i wasnt correct....we do have a shift light....but it isnt functional as a shift light.
so it still should be able to flash....because it is there....

 

I will have to look into it. I know i did try and nothing happened.

 

i INSTALLED STAGE 3 THE OTHER DAY AND CAN TELL U HOW TO DO IT. U have to have the car in accessory mode ( u need to turn the key all the way forward, the position before u actually start the car ), and u need to turn on your cruise control. Then all you do is hold down the set cruise button for about 10 secs, and it will engage. The shift light will turn on to let u know its activated. Do the saem when its on to turn it off.

 

yeah, It dont work. I was talking to one of the guys I deal with at a local dealership this morning and its not uncommon for this to not work. They are trying to rectify the issue, and he will let me know as soon as they know.
