im trying to help my buddy out. he doesnt have the internet so im his bitch i guess. hes looking to upgrade his sc to an after market one. ive done some searching and found one kit from rebel autoworks but its not on their site (that i could find) and a prototype kit on 2K5SS/SC? 's car. are theyre any more kits or can someone at least point me in the right direction? thanks

 

Tell him to go with a turbo kit instead. Whipple kit isn't worth the money.

go turbo you can get a stage 1 kit from rebel for 3300 and if you sell your blower for 700 you can get it for 2600

 

but if he were to stay w/ a supercharger who sells the whipple kit? ill throw him the idea of a turbo.

It's not a whipple kit, it's a Lysholm 1200 blower. There is a damn good reason why the car is not up to snuff at the moment, I can assure you. I found a flaw in the kit that is getting corrected as we speak. I did not want to progress on further unti it was fixed and fixed right. Look out soon for an update as soon as my parts are shipped back to me. Please don't judge the kit until it's all working properly.

Rebel Auto Worxs and myself are dedicated to finishing this project so that it's reliable and makes good power. Stay tuned.

i would hope so, there are still some of us that love our supercharger. i think that cobalts should stay supercharged. (not that im not curious to see what the turbo is like in the cobalt) but if we wanted turbo we would have bought a srt-4 or something. Please dont forget about us supercharger guys!

I'm also wondering if there will be any performance or test information the eaton kits in the cobalt, I am very interested in the TVS Eaton kit.

 

Why am I not finding this Stage 1 kit on their Website?
