Oil Changes give back?

I changed the oil for the first time today and I swear it is noticably faster than before? Anyone else exprience this? I kid you not it seemed like my RPMs raised way faster and my boost gauge was more responsive. I couldnt stop laughing. A simple oil change goes a long ways.

well u did flush out all the deposits and oil that was starting to breakdown with fresh clean slick oil, so ya i could see it

the guys on trucks gained something like 20 ft lbs of tq by flushing the transfer case and tranny and replacing with royal purple.

No placebo effect here Over time the viscocity breaks down inturn causing compression to lower so when you change oil compression is returned to normal giving you the HP you expect same thing can happen if you add STP oil treatment (not recommended) it's like putting honey in your motor for lube

shoot you guys should have gone to the leading edge dyno event MP held a few months back. This kid w/ an SRT-4 gained 10 wtq after an oil change w/ leading edge oil and then the oil/fuel additive. Pretty crazy stuff.
