so as my cobalt has been on the disabled list, i have gotten to drive some cars i usually wouldnt.

my moms 2005 monte carlo ls.
-slow as *****. i hate the way it handles, but it has such a comfy ride!

my brothers 2001 firebird.
-its the V6 and hes got ram air intake and dual exhaust...it sounds good but wow im really dissapointed! i thought it would be at least slightly faster than my balt.

my friends 2005 mustang convertible
-he has the V6, but CAI, dual exhaust and custom 93 octane tune. and it is quick dont get me wrong, but i didnt have the oppurtunity to floor it, but from the butt dyno just regular driving...my balt felt peppier!

i guess im just suprised how well my 2.4 actually performs. not that the cars i have driven were beastly street machines, but i would have thought they would be a little quicker.

just thinking about stuff like this makes me wanna keep my balt

 

yeah, it's a lot nicer of a sporty compact than it's give credit for.
