Cobalt...a chick car?
Okay so today in class, (clearly we had too much free time) somehow a couple of my guy "friends" got on the subject of my Cobalt. Basically they were saying that how much of a girl car it is and that you never see guys driving it. Yea right now my car is bone stock ( I plan on modding it but im broke right now
!), but I don't think its mainly a girl car. One of the guys in this conversation said that his Pontiac Sunfire is a unisex car but the Cobalt was a girl car. *******! The Cobalt/G5 is the predecessor of the Cavalier/Sunfire! I don't really care what they have to say about my car, thats the one I wanted and I enjoy it very much. So, I was just wondering what you "guys and girls" thought about this intersting topic.

LOL my boyfriend had an "OMG" moment driving my car. He's like "Suddenly it just feels like the SS/SC is a chick car cause I was driving yours and everytime someone would look I'm thinking OMG they just saw me in a chick's car." But he has an orange one so his rational is it's only a chick's car if it's blue......
Im gona b honest, I live in a small town (originally from the bronx NY, dont ask my why rents decided to move to the middle of nowhere), and most of these guys havnt left the state of NC and it clearly shows in their...ignorance...if thats the best word.

I think the balt is an awsome car, for the money it cant be beat. Its small enough to zip through traffic (how i get home so fast) also tell your retarded guy friends that you can fold down your rear seats and you have a bed that extends into your trunk to enjoy with a female
I kinda look at it like this (this is from my personal experience driving around my city and others):
LS w/ stock steelies/hub caps
Stock=mainly chic car, but any mods automatically makes it a unisex car
LT
Unisex for the most part, i forget the main differences between LS and LT, but 90% of girls just go for the cheap model, they dont kno the different between hub caps and rims (DISCLAIMER: this is a general observation, any girl who wants to dispute it, plz do, i love girls who are into cars)
3LT
Guy car...ive never seen a chic drivin one, i dont even see to many of them period, the local dealer had 2x 3LT's, 20x 1LT's, and about 80x LS's (no lie, ill take a pic if u want.. they have 3 long rows of LS's b/c they sell so many)
SS/NA and SS/SC
Pretty much a guy car..but also for the girls who are interested in cars, it provides a cheap way to get a "sports compact" and most girls like the looks of it, but the ignorant ones end up buyin an LS for $10,000.
I think most ppl would agree..but there will be a few who say otherwise. it's ok. i understand some people dont have tons of cash to buy whatever they want, hell i'd be driving a space shuttle to work if i could..money is usually the determing factor in what kind of car you get. guys are typically more willing to invest more into a car, whereas majority of girls just want something economical so they can shop at the mall some more
edit: i forgot 2LT...i dont kno if i've ever seen one, a quick search at my local dealer doesnt show any, seems like the only different between 2LT and 3LT is the Rims, White Gauges (which i think are sweet at night), leather wrapped steering wheel, chrome exhaust tip, spoiler is standard, cruise is standard, and the price difference is $700. Seems like a good deal for me, the rims alone probably cost $400-700.

but ya, no one can the SS/SC is a "chic car" or thats its "too slow" b/c u gotta either:
1. Have a big ass V8
or
2. Have a big ass Turbo with a well built engine
in order to beat a Stage 2/3 Balt
