is it worth it?

okay, i waxed my car today, and i was wondering if waxing it again tomorrow morning would make the car seem even shinier.. im using the meguires nxt wax, and it works well.. just curious if a second coat cuuld help?

if you're doing 2 coats, do them back to back, and it will be a little crisper. If you wait a day, you could get crap all over the car that you could end up rubbing into and around the paint. Leave one on for now, go two next time.

the amount of time and wax needed wont really gain the results you are looking for if i am understanding that you want an insane looking shine ... the shine you wanna get i think would need to be done from a new paint job with lots o clear coat

The guy who runs the detail shop at work says that putting it on heavy, or two coats helps it stay shinier LONGER and protect longer, but not look any shinier. I would tend to believe him.
