2.9" pulley=better gas milage?

I was just wondering about my pulley change. I put in a 2.9" pulley and it seems my gas mileage got better. Is this what's suppose to happen or is it suppose to burn more?

i dont think you should be burning more or even less, you car try's to keep the a/f ratio in safe ranges. like the ideal a/f ratio is 14.7/1. so i dont think so man, maybe your just driving better?

volumetric efficiency went up so technically you can get better gas mileage.. but due to how most peeps drive with more power.. most people go down.. hehe..
