ingalls td vs warrenty

hey guys, i'm about to go pickup my ingalls torque dampener at fedex. just out of curiousity this shouldn't affect my warrenty at all? i know it's just removing some bolts around the motor mount, i just want to be sure the dealer won't give me a hard time if i have it on next time i bring the car in.

As long as you don't drop the motor when installing, you're golden.

it should one problem alot of people had with it is they tried to force it.... make sure its aligned perfect and it shouldnt need any "force" to put on (i put it in quotes because your going to torque the bolts and all)

Yes however, you need to have an Injen intake system, or there is not enough room. The stock air box gets in the way.

There is no need to have an Ingalls with the Turbo Tech Racing Solid Mount.

you only need one or the other. Some state the Ingalls brackets bend, so they switch to our solid engine mount.

That's true. I've gotten a couple good launches...don't get me wrong. It seems though, even when I feather it, they still hop...I guess I just need to perfect the launch.

Wont' hurt you warranty and it helps wheel hop a ton. I have mine set on the setting when it came in the box and it prevents wheel hop termendously over the stock form. I plan on getting tranny mounts soon too.

i went out looking for a torque wrench last night, cause the directions say to torque the botls 25-30 pounds, plus it's good to have a torque wrench. went to 3 places (didn't know it's only considered an automotive tool), only one i found was at sears for $70.... on sale! didn't buy it. gonna look around this weekend to see if i can find one for no more than $40 somewhere. i'm debating on waiting for my strut bar to come in and install both at the same time, or install this this weekend. i'll get pics of both once they're installed.

It is on the passenger side, we have them in stock and being in MN it will only take 1 day to get there.

just got it installed a little while ago, went for a really quick spin. i gotta say, i really like it. vibrates a little more while at idle, not enough to bug me, i really don't mind it. shifts were a LOT smoother, and the ride also seemed a little smoother to me. i pretty much just went up the street, i didn't get on it at all or try and check on the wheel hop, but so far, i gotta say i really like having it installed.

installation was VERY easy, literally just take off 4 bolts, put the brackets on, put said 4 bolts back on, put the td on, tighten, good to go. i'm also on the factory setting, which is probably where i'm gonna leave it. but so far, two big thumbs up, i like!
