led tails from gm?

alright so yesterday at work (lot tech at a chevy dealer) i was walkin around killing time and i walked past one of the 08 cobalts (rs haha). anyways there was a sticker on the side with pricing of additional add on accesories already put on the car, there was a billet grill, bonjovi cd player, and led taillights. i saw led tails and was like what?!? so i went to the back and they were indeed led tails. keep in mind this is a brand new cobalt. the gm site doesnt have tails on their site for accessories so wtf?

i have a pic on my phone but im at school right now so i cant upload it yet

i wouldnt think so because i am almost positive it was a brand new car. and i dont think the dealership is going to buy something off ebay and add it to the car and sell it.

He did say it was an RS.... the dealer may have just bought LED lights.

I actually would prob buy that cobalt labeled dealer rice. take off the decals and the badges and its just a clean looking yellow balt with the razzi kit. if the exhaust is really a dual and not just a muffler hanging for decoration i'd pick it up. put some springs and lower profile wheels and you got yourself a good start.

dealer rice.

its quite common for them to "do up" a base model.
the one on the lot here never sold, and then ended up taking a loss on the parts they put on.

then again, they were trying to sell it for as much as an ss/sc

No kidding. A dealer here put those optional 18" chrome rims on a base model Cobalt and they want $20k for it.
