New car pictures

Hello everyone!

I bought my new 06 SS/SC two weeks ago with 20 miles on it (no idea how I found an '06 with such low miles ). Anyways, after 2 1/2 weeks, I have put 1000 miles on it (I know... I love driving it). I took some pictures a few days ago of the car, and here they are.

First, here is my old car I traded in: 2003 Mustang GT w/ premium package:

And now, here is my new car:

It was slightly dirty in these pictures, mainly because it rained for the first three days I bought the car.

I look forward to meeting many of you! Hope to meet some fellow 'Balt owners in the New England area, as well (I don't see many around, though!)

Take care!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I really enjoy the car so far. Still trying to get used to the clutch... the Mustang clutch was heavy as hell . Aside from that, I love it.

Probably going to start the modifications in another 1000 miles or so. I want to get 100% used to how it drives before I begin adding more power.

My girlfriend is a Mustang owner... I don't think she is too happy about me joining the GM crew, haha . Oh well...

Thanks for the compliment!

Absolutely! I'm always willing to meet new people around the area. One thing I noticed about being a Mustang owner (at least in New England) is that all Mustang owners hated one another, and it was always a competition (probably because there was a Mustang on every street you drove on). But Cobalts seem a bit more united, which is great. If any meets come up, let me know... I am always willing to drive a ways!

Thanks again everyone!

just a bit of advice...you're definitely gonna need to get into some cooling mods and def. traction mods. if not first, than very soon after a few power mods. They'll help just about as much. Welcome to the site, and trust me, the more you drive it, the more fun you'll have with it

Thank you .

I had the Mustang for 3 1/2 years. It was nice... but if you drove it (with the condition it was in), you would realize why I traded it in (let's just say I beat it up just a little...)

Saving a LOT of money on the Cobalt, too... much cheaper than my GT. But they are both fun in their own different ways

Thanks again!
