Car ramps

Hey everyone.

A question for the people using car ramps to change their oil. Does the ramp scrape the bottom of the front lip for the SS/SC balt?

Thanks

YES, depending on the ramp. I have a set of metal ones and they scrape, but I've used lower ones and no, they've been fine. You need to find ones that are fairly long and/or not as high with a very gradual slope.

Yes they usually scrape.
I cut a couple of 2x4s about 2 feet long, making the cut at an angle, then lay them in front of the ramps. For me it was enough to get the lip up high enough.

Yup, that's what I did too, works like a charm.
