hey yall i just got this code but for the life of me i cant find the plug wires to take it off and try to put it back on can anybody help me?

 

what code was it and what wires are we talkin about?

 

Our cars don't have plug wires. You have to take off the plastic cover in the middle of the valve cover to get to the individual coil packs. Unscrew those then you can pull them out and get to the plugs.

That said, a p0302 doesn't necessarily mean your plug is misfiring, although that's usually the case. Make sure you check the injector to see if it's functioning properly also. I'd assume the compression is ok considering it's a relatively new motor.

 

P0302 it runs fine but when i step on the gas it stutters . it only 2 weeks old with 535 miles on it

and am i going to do any damage by driving it?

 

Do you have a CAI? Mine was missing on #4 and they gave me new plugs, gas treatment, a new injector, and nothing was working then went back to my box and modded it and it is running fine now...my CAI was throwing off my map....

what do i need to take that piece off to get to the plugs??

 

It's 2 weeks old. Take that **** to the dealer.
